Trader – natural gas

Full-time, permanent

Duties and responsibilities:

Manage an individual trading book, primarily in European natural gas markets, within the Company’s approved risk policy, limits and trading mandate.
Develop and execute proprietary trading strategies, with responsibility for positioning, exposures, maturities and P&L performance.
Identify and capture trading and optimization opportunities across physical and financial gas markets
Monitor and manage market, liquidity and counterparty risks associated with the trading book, adjusting positions as required.
Report regularly on P&L, risk exposures, market positioning and performance against agreed objectives.

Requirements:

Minimum 2–3 years of relevant trading experience in European natural gas or closely related energy markets
Proficiency in additional major European business languages, particularly German, French, Italian or Spanish, is a plus
IT skills are a plus

Trader – LNG

Full-time, permanent

Duties and responsibilities:

Manage an individual LNG trading book within the Company’s approved risk policy, limits and trading mandate, while making a material contribution to the management, positioning and performance of the wider LNG desk book and the Company’s LNG positions.
Develop and execute proprietary and optimization strategies across physical LNG, derivatives and related natural gas markets, with responsibility for positioning, exposures and P&L performance.
Manage and optimize LNG logistics, including cargo scheduling, shipping, terminal capacity, regasification, storage, nominations and delivery obligations.
Monitor and report on P&L, market and operational exposures, cargo positions, logistics constraints and performance against agreed objectives.

Requirements:

Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in LNG, natural gas or closely related energy markets, with demonstrated understanding of LNG trading and logistics
Proficiency in additional major European business languages, particularly German, French, Italian or Spanish, is a plus
IT skills are a plus

Trader – derivatives

Full-time, permanent

Duties and responsibilities:

Manage an individual derivatives trading book within the Company’s approved risk policy, limits and trading mandate, with particular focus on writing and managing options on European natural gas and cross-commodity products (power, CO2).
Develop and execute proprietary derivatives strategies, actively managing volatility, hedging requirements, exposures and P&L performance across the portfolio.
Liaise closely with Risk Management to ensure real-time monitoring of positions, sensitivities, limits and portfolio risk, and maintain appropriate hedging and risk controls.

Requirements:

Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in European natural gas derivatives
Proficiency in additional major European business languages, particularly German, French, Italian or Spanish, is a plus
IT skills are a plus

Matija Barudzija

(Partner, Co-Founder, CEO)

Has more than 10 years of natural gas trading experience. In 2007, he joined ENOI S.p.A. in Milan and became the head of international sales and origination. In 2012 he co-founded ENET Energy SA in Lugano. The company was also the founding partner of Dufenergy Trading, a joint venture between Enet and Duferco. Mr. Barudžija has other business interests in the soft commodity processing and trading sector. Mr. Barudžija was trained at Merrill Lynch and holds a MSc in Finance from Bocconi University in Milan.

Marco Passalia

(Partner, Istitutional Relations)

Holds an MSc in Economics from University of Zurich and Lugano/Milan. He is Co-founder and Secretary General of Lugano Commodity trading Association (LCTA) and has more than 10 years’ experience in international trade. He was Deputy Director of the Ticino Chamber of commerce for 10 years and is currently a member of the Board of the Fashion Company LaMartina (Fond. LaMartina based in Switzerland) and President of the Board of Coop. Case al Ponte (Swiss real estate company).

Michele Belcredi

(Partner, Co-Founder, Trading and Logistics)

Has 14 years of experience in the natural gas logistics, asset optimization and trading. He joined ENOI S.p.A. Milan in 2003 and became head of logistics. In 2010, he moved to Hong Kong to head the LNG unit. In 2012, he co-founded ENET Energy SA in Lugano as head of trading & logistics. He was crucial to the DufEnergy Trading SA development as the head of logistics department for natural gas and electricity, where he also served as a Member of the Board. Mr. Belcredi holds a Degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Pavia, Italy.

Pasquale Corvaglia

(Partner, Sales and Origination)

Mr. Corvaglia joined Enet in April 2016. He has 12+ years of management experience in sales, business development, public and regulatory affairs. After gratuading in Economics at Bocconi University, Mr. Corvaglia started his career as a project manager for renewable energy in Renova Group. From 2009 to 2014, he moved to the European conventional energy subsidiary of Renova where he was appointed senior vice president for business development, marketing and public affairs. In 2015, before joing Enet, he worked as independent consultant for some leading Italian utilities.

Matteo Zannier

(Partner, Finance and Risk Management)

Joined ENET Energy SA in October 2014. From 2004 to 2013, he was at the centre of competence for hedge fund investing of the Generali Group as head of multi arbitrage and head of event driven strategies, responsible for due diligence, selection and investing with the most talented alternative managers globally. He started his career in 1998, as an analyst and portfolio manager, collaborating with different private and professional investment companies, including family offices, asset managers and private banks where he also served as a member of the board of directors. Mr. Zannier holds a BA Hon., from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan.
