Treasury and risk manager

 

Full-time, permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage communication with banking institutions what concerns financing facility utilization and monitoring, issuance of bank guarantees, SBLCs, payments
  • Identify, asses and mitigate risks generating from operations (incl. credit, market, operational, reputational, conduct risk)
  • Optimize processes and ensure robustness, incl. required controls
  • Support the internal control system
  • Perform risk assessments
  • Analyze market trends, legal and regulatory evolution, assess impact and develop recommendations
  • Monitor and analyze portfolio risk
  • Support investment deal structuring
  • Review and sign-off credit rating analyses and risk assessments of counterparts
  • Perform portfolio rating review
  • Develop and implement policies and contingency plans to reduce and control risk and liabilities
  • Provide respective reports/annual review for the executive management and board of directors and other partners
  • Collaborate in cross-company projects

Your Profile

  • University degree or equivalent (e.g. Finance/Economics, Accounting, Financial Management and Control)
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Risk Management and/or Audit and/or Banking and/or a treasury department of an energy commodity company
  • Proven experience in corporate risk management, credit risk, and dept rating
  • Excellent knowledge of risk and control processes and linked procedures
  • Very good analytical, organizations proficient self-driven skills with hands-on and team player attitude
  • Accurate and detail-oriented with sound judgement and integrity
  • Excellent communications skills in English and German (or French), Italian knowledge is a plus
  • Knowledge of Swiss legal and regulatory framework is a plus
  • Interest in the energy commodities industry
